The Role

We are looking for another Product Manager to join our growing team. You will be leading a cross-functional team made up of botanists, entomologists, content creators, growth specialists, engineers and designers to make Candide the first place people go to learn more about plants and wildlife, and how to care for them. To achieve this you will be improving our database of plant and wildlife knowledge, perfecting our automatic plant identification model, engaging a community of knowledge contributors, as well as identifying and developing new opportunities to expand our markets and product solutions.

Your Background

We are looking for someone who can inspire and motivate a diverse team, and have experience from working on an in-market, consumer-facing, mobile application. You will have empathy with users and be keen to develop a deep understanding of their needs. You will be experienced in facilitating design sprints and other workshop formats and have spent 2+ years in a product-related role.
Our ideal candidate will bring their experience with evolving a free service to one worth paying for, potentially in a global market. You can also relate to building a product aimed at users with a broad range of skills in a specific domain, and have had success with making complex information engaging and accessible to all.
A budding interest in plants and wildlife is also helpful; plants are a passionate subject for our users and this role will be immersed in that world!
