The heady scent of Elderflower blossom bubbling away is a familiar one to me. My family usually makes litres upon litres of elderflower cordial every year, freezing it in ice cube trays and drinking it throughout the year. So, when I caught the foraging bug, Elderflower cordial was top on my list of things to make at home.
And this recipe for homemade cordial doesn't disappoint, giving me just enough to enjoy for a few balmy weeks in summer. Unlike the stuff you find on supermarket shelves, this recipe forgoes preservatives. We think this is the best way to make Elderflower cordial, but don't just take our word for it.
