Quirky gardening tales, tips and inspiration in the new podcast series ‘Fresh from the Pod’ with Tamsin Westhorpe, brought to you by Candide.
Socks, topless scything and the emotional journey of gardening are just a few of the eclectic subjects discussed with designer, plantsman and presenter, Chris Beardshaw, as he chats to RHS Judge Tamsin Westhorpe in the first episode of the lively new gardening podcast Fresh from the Pod.

Tamsin, who has worked in the gardening and horticultural sector for over 25 years, has had a lifetime of meeting fascinating people from across the fields of environmentalism, conservation, gardening and garden-related industries. In her new podcast Fresh from the Pod, produced by the gardening app Candide she shares some of those insightful and sometimes surprising conversations.
Designed to revive any weary weeder, Fresh from the Pod is a twice-monthly, advert-free podcast which offers light-hearted and uplifting conversations with gardeners, designers, environmentalists and horticultural influencers.

Other guests featured in the new series include designer and BBC Gardeners’ World presenter Nick Bailey, who discusses his time as head gardener at Chelsea Physic Garden, and Laetitia Maklouf, columnist, blogger, author and gardening’s answer to Nigella Lawson, revealing her glamourous journey in horticulture.
