Carpodetus is a genus containing around 11 evergreen trees from the Rousseaceae family. They produce small green leaves which are alternately arranged on stems and small delicate cream-white flowers. These plants originate from New Guinea, the Solomon Islands and New Zealand. Outside of these areas, they are more often grown in botanic gardens.
