Aechmea miniata Overview
Aechmea miniata is an evergreen perennial species in the Bromeliaceae family. It originates from northeast Brazil and produces showy red flowers. Flowers lead onto shiny red berry fruits. Leaves grow to around 30cm long, they are straight and green on the upper surface and reddish on the underside. Leaves have a wax-like coating on the undersides.
