Mistletoe Fig Overview
Ficus deltoidea is a tender evergreen shrub species from the Moraceae family. Commonly known by the names Mistletoe Fig and Mistletoe Rubber Plant. Leaves measure around 8cm in length and are more lance-shaped and narrow in immature specimens. With age it forms attractive oval to roughly triangle-shaped leaves. They are coloured green on the upper surface and golden yellow with black spots on the underside, with prominent veins. It may grow over 5m in height and spread, flowers are non-showy, leading onto small, dull orange-red fruits. This plant has earnt a Royal Horticultural Society Award of Garden Merit.
