This species will grow about 20cm in height. It will produce long-stemmed leaves and white flowers with green veining appearing from spring to early summer. This plant is often found in the wild in Northern Europe. STEM: Upright, straight. ROOT: Short, upright stock. HAIRS: Hairless STIPULES: Absent LEAF-STALK: Longer than blade, absent on stem-leaf. BRACTS: Absent FLOWER STALK: Much longer than flower. SEPALS: 5, spear-shaped. PETALS: 5, equal, oval, tip notched. STAMENS: 5, with 5 modified, fringed with sticky drops. STIGMA: 4, not stalked. OVARY: 1, 1-celled except at base. SEEDS: Many, oblong.
