Spring Snowflake Overview

Bulbous, deciduous and perennial species growing to an average height of around 20cm. This variety has a less vigorous growth habit and struggles to form thick clumps, however it can spread across the ground by seeding. It produces pretty, hanging, bell-shaped blooms coloured pure white, with yellow spotted petal tips. These are produced on bare stems that grow straight upwards in spring, usually in pairs and leaves are simple and strap to linear in shape, coloured light green, edging towards yellow.
