Everlasting Pea Overview
Lathyrus latifolius is a vigorous climbing perennial from the Fabaceae family. Commonly known by the names Everlasting Pea or Broad-Leaved Everlasting Pea, amongst others. This plant grows up to 2m each year and repeatedly flowers, producing vivid pink-purple flowers if regularly harvested. The flowers measure between 2-3cm across, they are arranged on raceme structures, usually in groups of 5-11 blooms. Stems are winged and foliage is arranged in pairs, leaflets are grey-green in colour and possess tendrils for climbing.
