Frogbit Overview
Hydrocharis morsus-ranae is an aquatic perennial species in the Hydrocharitaceae family. It floats on the surface of water bodies, producing rounded, leathery, heart-shaped leaves up to 3cm in width. Pretty white flowers with 3 petals and yellow centres are produced in the summer, they measure 2-3cm in width.
