Kahili Ginger Lily Overview

Hedychium gardnerianum is a deciduous perennial plant from the Zingiberaceae family. It has an upright habit, growing to around 2m tall. Commonly known by the names Kahili Ginger or Kahili Ginger Lily. It produces lance-shaped, grey-green leaves and scented yellow flowers with red stamens from late summer-autumn. This plant has earnt a Royal Horticultural Society Award of Garden Merit.
