This species will produce dark green, glossy leaves and red, pink or white flowers which will appear in mid winter. They will prefer a sunny or partial-shaded spot with rich well drained soil that will range from neutral to acidic, they will not tolerate lime at all.
How to propagate Camellia sasanqua
You can propagate by semi-ripe or hardwood cuttings from mid-summer to early winter.
Simple layering in late winter or early spring.
