Paper Birch Overview

Deciduous tree that grows with a conical-shaped outline. It has distinctive white bark which peels away to reveal pale orange underbark. Leaves are heart to triangular in shape and toothed along the edges. Non-showy yellow flowers are arranged in catkins, with male and female flowers found on individual specimens. Green foliage becomes yellow in autumn, displaying nice autumnal colour.
