Acaena Overview

Genus of perennial and subshrubs that are mostly evergreen but in severe winter conditions will drop their leaves. They are grown for their foliage and coloured burs and make good ground cover. Some species are considered invasive and they produce close, rounded heads of many small, reddish flowers.
