Silver-Vase Bromeliad Overview
Aechmea fasciata is an evergreen perennial with funnel-shaped rosettes of grey leaves. A dense, central, terminal spike of purple tubular flowers is formed, often with colourful, pink triangular bracts. It produces a spherical, woolly, fleshy fruit.
