An annual herbaceous shrub that grows to around 60cm tall, producing yellow flowers and trailing stems. It has perennial tuberous roots. It grows naturally in a dry Savannah habitat in full sun or semi-shade. Usually found in sandy soils and with summer rainfall. Does not have much gardening potential, but may be useful for dry bushveld gardens.
