Mzimvubu Spurflower Overview
A perennial shrub that grows up to 1m and up to 3m wide. Is aromatic and has roots with tubers and fibres. Flowers are pink and tubular in shape with long calyx extending from the flower. Naturally occurring in a subtropical climate with an annual summer rainfall of 1000-1250mm. Easily propagated from cuttings and is best suited to moist to dry bushveld and thicket gardens. An attractive perennial shrub for shady areas in the garden.
