Succulent-like, herbous perennial plant with distinctive deeply lobed leaves on self-branching stout stems. One of the few Plectranthus more prone to grow in the sun. Fragrant leaves remind of 'Vicks', a medication used to help with chess problems. The purplish mauve flowers usually appear in late fall.
