Variegated Mintleaf Overview
Plectranthus madagascariensis is an evergreen, well-branching plant from the family. It makes good groundcover, spreading to result in a neat and dense mound up to 1m high, rooting where the branches touch the ground. Commonly known as Variegated Mintleaf, Thicket Spurflower and Madagascar Spurflower. The green leaves are broadly ovate with rounded teeth, slightly hairy to the touch. The well-known cultivar ‘Lynne' has variegated leaves which are green with a striking creamy-white to pure white margin.
