Plectranthus ecklonii 'Erma' Overview
"Erma" is a selection of P. ecklonii with soft pink flowers. A large shade-loving shrub with pretty tubular flowers that are clustered on mass on top of a tall flower spike. The plant can reach 2m tall and flowers on mass in Autumn. They naturally occur in moist sub-tropical and temperate forests, where they receive summer rainfall. It was named after the wife of the botanist, Ernst van Jaarsveld. Easy to propagate from cuttings in spring. Attracts insects and birds to garden and a colourful shade garden plant.
