Overview

Draba is a large genus of around 416 hardy annual and evergreen or semi-evergreen perennial species. They flower during spring, forming clusters of yellow or white flowers and their growth is cushion-shaped. They typically come from rocky, mountainous habitats in Northern temperate, alpine and temperate South American climates and so make good rock garden plants.
