Sedge Overview

Ficinia is a genus containing around 80 rhizomatous, perennial plants from the Cyperaceae family. They are commonly known by the name Sedge and these plants are found in Australia, Africa and New Zealand. They tend to form tufts and many cultivars have been produced with variegated foliage. They make nice specimen plants.
