Cattleya forbesii Overview
There are about 50 species. The plants are narrow and upright. Water and minerals are obtained from clinging and aerial roots. The perennials consist of 3 outer sepals and 3 inner petals, the lowest of which is usually enlarged. The flowers can be colourful and are very attractive.
