Pancratium Overview

A genus of 21 accepted species of bulbous herbaceous perennial flowering plants in the Amaryllidaceae family native to Africa and Eurasia where they inhabit dry, sandy regions. They have fragrant daffodil-like usually white flowers in Summer and greyish-green strap-shaped basal leaves forming a clump. Several species are cultivated as garden or glasshouse plants.
