Cladrastis Overview

Also known as yellowwood, this genus contains 8 hardy, deciduous trees with scented white or pink flowers. These are made in pendant groups on long inflorescences which may be branched or singular. Typically this genus is grown for its nice foliage which displays bright autumn colour and its flowers, which superficially resemble those of wisteria.
