Homalomena Overview

Homalomena is a genus of clump-forming evergreen perennial plants in the Araceae family originating from Southern Asia and the Southwest Pacific with a few found in Latin America. There are 124 recognised species in this genus distinguished by their heart-shaped or arrowhead-shaped sometimes marbled leaves with a typically arum-like flower spike which in this genus is hidden under the foliage.
