This is a tough species of tree, it can be grown in coastal areas or in the desert. The leaves are light grey and slender about 4-6cm long. The flowers are white and will bloom in the summer and spring, they are followed by seed capsules in clusters. The leaves of the eucalyptus are toxic which prevents understory competition.
