Hearts of Gold Redbud Overview

Cercis canadensis 'Hearts of Gold' is a deciduous shrub or tree cultivar which often forms multiple stems, from the Fabaceae family. It is commonly known by the name Redbud 'Hearts of Gold', this plant produces fantastic pea-like, pink flowers and golden-yellow leaves. Heart-shaped or cordate leaves change colour each season, its a great choice to bring colour into the garden. This plant typically grows to a height of around 5m and a spread of around 6m. This cultivar is protected under intellectual property laws by Plant Breeders' Rights. These provide the breeder of new plants exclusive control over the plant material for a set amount of time.
