Platanus racemosa Overview

This is a large beautiful tree with maple-like leaves, and interesting and colourful bark that exfoliates in pieces showing lighter bark underneath. It is drought resistant, but will perform very well with some deep watering. The leaves are 4-9 inches long and light green. There are seed balls hanging in cluster in the winter.
