Codonopsis Overview

Genus comprised of around 53 perennial, primarily herbaceous, climbing species typically grown for their showy bell-shaped blooms. These tend to be pastel shades of pink, blue and frequently white, sometimes with intricate patterning on the petal surfaces. Their native range extends from the Himalayas to Japan and they have evolved from rocky and alpine environments.
