Jewel-Leaf Plant Overview

Graptopetalum is a genus of succulent perennial plants in the Crassulaceae family, native to Mexico and border US states, containing 18 accepted species. Known commonly as the jewel-leaf plant, they are cultivated as houseplants for their compact rosettes of fleshy leaves in a variety of shades from grey to pinkish with an oval or triangular cross-section. In spring and summer, they can produce small starry flowers held in clusters.
