Ferula Overview

Genus containing approximately 208 perennials commonly grown for their ornamental value and also known as giant fennel. They come from arid habitats in the Mediterranean to Central Asia. Plants feature hollow, semi-succulent stems and large, aromatic, divided foliage. Yellow, occasionally white, flowers are borne in clusters on branched stems.
