Deutzia Overview

Deutzia is a genus of approximately 72, mostly deciduous shrubs from Central and Eastern Asia, Europe and Central America. Some tropical species are evergreen. They are typically grown for their abundance of showy, 5-petalled flowers. They grow between 1-4m tall and have opposite, simple leaves with serrated edges. Flowers are white in most species with some producing red or pink blooms.
