Ornithogalum ponticum 'Sochi' is a bulbous perennial cultivar that produces strap-shaped foliage. Stems grow vertically to a flowering height of around 40cm, producing branched, triangular shaped inflorescences. Up to 15 flowers may be produced per stem, these are pure white and open from from the base of the stem upwards. Blooms are star-shaped, with 6 thin, white petals and yellow centres.
