Holodiscus Overview

A small genus containing 2 accepted species of dioecious Summer-flowering shrubs in the Rosaceae family native to the Western parts of the Americas from Canada to Bolivia. They are cultivated for their fast growth, arching habit and pendulous sprays of small creamy-white flowers. They are fully hardy and can tolerate a range of conditions.
