Tillandsia argentea Overview
This is a small plant which will grow about 10-15cm wide, with a bulbous base and heavily scaled, silver thread-like leaves. The leaves are arranged spirally around the short stem so that they resemble an onion. The flowers are red to violet and held almost perpendicularly.
