Nymphoides Overview

A genus containing 34 accepted species of deciduous, rhizomatous aquatic perennials in the Menyanthaceae family with a wide distribution in tropical zones of the world. Also known as floatingheart, members of this genus have disc-shaped or kidney-shaped floating leaves and small fringed usually yellow or white flowers held above the water surface. It is suitable for growing at pond margins.
