Pineapple Guava Overview
Acca is a genus containing just 3 shrub or tree species, including some which are cultivated for their edible fruits. These are called pineapple guavas or feijoas, which refer to the fruits and historically this genus was named Feijoa. The flowers are pretty, they have white petals tinged with pink on the inside and many red stamens which protrude out past the petals, giving a small bottlebrush-like effect.
