Echinopsis Overview
Echinopsis is a genus of over 130 perennial cacti from South America. They are characterised by their columnar to spherical shape, and tendency to branch. From heavily ribbed and spiny stems they produce large, funnel-shaped, showy flowers in spring and summer - from small unassuming stems - which are white, purple, yellow, red or pink.
