Inula Overview
Inula is an old world genus containing around 85 annual or perennial and subshrubs from the Asteraceae family. The genus Inula is native to large parts of Europe, Asia and Africa. Inula generally have large basal leaves and yellow daisy-like flowers, they grow well in moist soil and full sun to partially shaded conditions. Several species have been cultivated since antiquity as garden ornamentals where they prefer a shady spot in a border or rockery, depending on the growth habit.
