Bacopa Overview
Bacopa is a genus containing around 100 species of annual or perennial herbaceous plants in the Plantaginaceae family. They are native to tropical and subtropical regions worldwide, with high diversity in the Americas and some species are considered weeds. Most commonly growing as aquatics, they can have smooth or hairy stems and produce lots of small 5-petalled, white, blue or purple flowers singly or in pairs. Leaves of this genus have a light lemony scent.
