National Tree Week ushers in the start of the tree planting season (which runs until March), and is one of the key reasons we're encouraging everyone to #treeinspired!
This week in our #treeinspired campaign, we have plenty of information on what trees you can plant in your own garden, how to plant them and other tree planting initiatives you can support.
Find out more information about the entire campaign here:
What trees to plant?
Our partners, The Community Forest Trust, have put together their five favourite trees you can plant in your garden.
If you're a bit short on space, our resident gardening expert Alan Down also has some recommendations on the best smaller trees you can plant in your garden.
How to plant a tree
You can find out everything you need to know about planting a tree here:
Here's our very own AlanGardenMaster demonstrating the best way to plant a tree by planting one in his very own garden. Head over to our youtube channel for more info.

Other ways you can support tree planting
Although many tree planting events can't take place this year, The Tree Council have put together a programme of tree-inspired arts and culture events for you to enjoy.
If you can't plant a tree yourself, you can still support tree-planting initiatives from the Community Forest Trust, an organisation championing community planting projects throughout the country.
Support their fantastic work by buying one of their virtual Christmas cards on the marketplace.
You can also make a donation and choose to either dedicate a tree, complete with a personalised e-certificate), or recieve a pack of wildflower seeds!
