Dittany Of Crete Overview

Perennial species with a branching, mat-forming growth habit and aromatic foliage coloured grey-green and covered with woolly grey-white hairs. Leaves have a velvet texture due to these hairs. Flowers are pink-purple and surrounded by modified leaves which are coloured purple-pink.
