Bergamot 'Prärienacht' Overview

The Monarda 'Prärienacht' cultivar also known as Bergamot or Bee Balm, is a clumping, herbaceous perennial that produces lilac-purple, thistle-like blooms. Its average growing height is around 90 cm and this cultivar may reach a maximum height of around 1 m. Flowers are surrounded by red-brown modified leaves known as bracts. It is also known and sold as Monarda 'Prarie Night'.
