Epimedium grandiflorum is a deciduous, clump-forming perennial species from the Berberidaceae family. It produces light green with spiny margins. In spring the leaves emerge with a bronze tinge and get greener with age. Long-spurred white, yellow, pink or purple flowers appear in spring. It typically grows to around 30cm tall.
