Trailing Bellflower Overview
Campanula poscharskyana is a spreading perennial, forming a low mound of rounded leaves. Its stems bear star-shaped light violet-blue flowers from summer to early autumn. Useful for groundcover and suppressing weeds - as well as other garden situations - check unwanted growth regularly as its vigorous spreading habit via undergound runners can become a problem. Happy in most moist, well-draining soils, Campanula poscharskyana (also known as Trailing Bellflower, amongst other names) is a useful plant for attracting pollinators.
