Giant Bellflower Overview

Campanula latifolia is a fast-growing, erect, bushy, clump-forming perennial. It has oval leaves on long stalks and loose racemes of nodding bell-shaped violet-blue, mauve or white flowers that bloom in summer. Also known as Giant, Great or Broad-leaved Bellflower (amongst other names), Campanula latifolia prefers moist but well-drained soil and it will thrive in full sun or partial shade. Suitable for many garden situations, including wildlife gardens.
