Calico Aster Overview

Symphyotrichum lateriflorum is a clump-forming perennial from the Asteraceae family. It dies back every winter, in late summer producing small, white-pink, daisy-like flowers arranged at the end of tall stems. It was recently re-classified and renamed from Aster lateriflorus and is commonly known as Calico Aster. This plant originates from Canada to Mexico and is a popular garden plant. It is hardy and grows best in full sun.
