Hollyhock 'Blacknight' Overview

Alcea rosea 'Blacknight' is a hardy, short-lived perennial cultivar from the Malvaceae family, often grown as a biennial plant. Commonly known as Hollyhock 'Blacknight'. It produces glossy purple-black flowers and green foliage, flowering in the summer. Blooms are single, sometimes semi-double in structure, with dark petals edged in red at the base and yellow centres. Sow seed in late spring or summer for flowers the following year.
