Dragonhead Overview

Genus also known by the name dragonhead, contains around 74 hardy, evergreen, herbaceous, annual or perennial plants or subshrubs. They produce showy, tubular, purple 2-lipped blooms in clusters on unbranched flower spikes. Blooms tend to have delicate patterning on the inner surface. Stems are characteristically square-shaped and foliage is toothed and usually aromatic.
